NoiseClear clean signal

About NoiseClear

NoiseClear is a browser tool that removes background noise from audio and video files. You upload a recording, a model runs in the cloud, and you download a cleaned copy of the same file. Nothing gets installed, and there is no command line to learn.

Uploads of MP3, WAV, and M4A cover audio, and MP4 and MOV cover video. A single file can be up to 2GB and up to 60 minutes, which is enough for a meeting recording, a lecture, a podcast episode, or a piece of footage with room tone under the dialogue.

A quiet desk with a microphone and notebook, the kind of setup where you remove background noise from audio with NoiseClear

What the tool does

Three steps, in order:

You upload a file from the browser.

The file is processed by a denoising model in the cloud.

You download the cleaned result from a link.

The output keeps the format family of the input, so an M4A comes back as cleaned audio and an MP4 comes back as cleaned video. Short recordings usually finish in under a minute, and long ones take a few minutes. Because the work happens in the cloud rather than in your browser, closing the tab does not stop a job that is already running.

Who the free tier is for

People who want to test the result on their own material, and people who clean the occasional short recording. The free tier takes ten minutes of audio per calendar month, under a free account. There is no watermark on the output and no branding mixed into the audio.

That tier exists to answer one question honestly: does the cleaned file sound right on your material? Ten minutes is enough to find out, and it costs nothing to find out. When a recording runs past 10 minutes, or once the month’s ten minutes are spent, the run is a paid one.

The limits, and where they come from

  • 2GB per file.
  • 60 minutes per file.
  • 10 minutes per file on the free tier.
  • 10 minutes a month on the free tier.

The first two are caps for a single upload on any tier. The last two are the free allowance. Everything else about a run is identical across tiers: the same formats, the same pipeline, the same result.

What happens to your files

Every uploaded file and its download link is deleted 60 minutes after the upload. The clock starts when the file arrives, not when you fetch the result, so a long job leaves a shorter download window. Miss it and the only route back is another upload.

Payment information lives with a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store card numbers, so a card is never sitting in our systems alongside your audio.

What a run costs

Paid runs are single purchases, or a monthly plan if you clean files often. $1.00 buys one file of up to 30 minutes and $1.99 buys one file of 30 to 60 minutes, in US dollars. Pro at $9.99 a month includes 20 hours of cleaning. Failed runs are not charged. The full breakdown, including how the free allowance is counted, is on pricing, and refund terms are on refund policy.

FAQ

There is a free tier: ten minutes of audio a month, under a free account. Files that are longer, or extra files in the same month, are paid runs at $1.00 or $1.99.

Yes. The free tier and paid runs sit under one free account, and all it asks for is an email and a password.

MP3, WAV, and M4A for audio; MP4 and MOV for video. Up to 2GB and 60 minutes per file, with the free tier capped at 10 minutes.

No. What you download is the cleaned track or clip, with no added audio or overlay.

60 minutes from upload, then the file and its download link are deleted automatically. The data policy is on privacy policy.

Try one recording

Pick a file under 10 minutes, upload it, and listen to the output before deciding anything. If the cleaned version is what you needed, pricing shows the two one-time options for longer files, and support@noiseclear.org handles anything left over.
