Refund Policy
Failed tasks are not charged
If a task fails and produces no output, you are not charged. The system collects payment only when it has a result to hand back, so a failed job never reaches the point where money changes hands. You do not need to ask for anything in that case. If your bank statement does show a charge for a task that produced no output, send us the order reference and we will sort it out.
When we refund a payment
We refund a payment when the task completed and we took your money, but the output is not usable. The clearest example is a file where the noise reduction damaged the audio itself, so that speech or music that was fine before the upload is now broken and you cannot use the result. If that happens to you, email support@noiseclear.org within 7 days of the purchase and include the order reference you received from the payment provider. Tell us what went wrong. We will look at the task and, if the output is genuinely unusable, we will refund the payment.
What counts as unusable
We treat an output as unusable when the file we send back cannot do the job you paid for. The usual case is damage caused by the noise reduction itself, where voices, music, or other sound that was clean in your original comes back broken, distorted, or chopped up. A result that is quieter but still carries some background noise is a different matter. Noise reduction cannot clear every sound from every recording, so a hum, hiss, or room tone that the tool could not fully remove is not a defect on its own. If the file plays and the speech or music inside it is still intact, we treat the task as successful.
What we do not refund
We do not refund a task that succeeded and produced a file you can use, including a case where you simply changed your mind or decided the audio quality was not what you hoped for. Results depend on the recording, and a working file is a working file. We also do not refund the free monthly quota, because no payment was made for it. Refunds are limited to the amount you paid for the specific task, and they do not apply to other tasks you ran.
How to request a refund
Send an email to support@noiseclear.org with the order reference, the date of the purchase, and a short description of the problem with the output. If it helps, describe what you expected and what you heard instead. We may ask a follow-up question before we decide. Keep your original file, since we may ask you to compare it with the result.
How the refund is paid
We send refunds back through the same payment provider you used. How long the money takes to appear depends on the provider and on your bank or card issuer, and we cannot speed that part up. We will confirm by email when we have sent the refund.
Disputes
If you are unhappy with our decision on a refund, reply to our email and explain why. We will take another look. Filing a chargeback with your bank before contacting us usually takes longer than writing to us first, so please reach out.
Changes to this policy
If we change how refunds work, we will update this page and change the date below.
